Dr. Cheryl Hall-Russell is the vice chair of the Distinguished Alumni Council and the president and chief cultural consultant for Black Women Wise Women, LLC, a Pittsburgh-based diversity, equity, and inclusion firm. In this role she consults with organizations who seek to center equity in their work. She supports this effort through cultural assessments, trainings, and the facilitation of complex conversations on race and social justice. Additionally, she produces and moderates a weekly web-based public affairs program, facilitates several nonprofit collaboratives, and conducts research for nonprofits and philanthropic institutions.
Hall-Russell received her MPA with a focus on nonprofit management from the Indiana University Paul H. O'Neill School, a master's in philanthropy and a doctorate in leadership and administration from Park Point University. She is a published writer, public speaker, and mother of two.
