Experience Day FAQs

Experience Day programming has been intentionally designed for applicants and admits who would be first-time students at Indiana University and the O’Neill School. Though, prospective students considering graduate study at O’Neill are more than welcome to attend!

All attendees will receive a schedule via email ahead of Experience Day as well as logistics for traveling to campus. You should plan for a full day of programming, with built in breaks. We will also offer a continental breakfast and lunch.

Experience Day is FREE to all attendees who have filled out the reservation form and received a confirmation.

Yes! While most of the programming during Experience Day will be most relevant to future O’Neill students, participants will be permitted to RSVP to bring a guest upon registering for Experience Day.

You may decide to extend your trip to Bloomington, and we recommend it if you can! Your travel companions may also decide that they’d rather explore the area while you attend Experience Day. There’s plenty to do for anyone wanting to see what the IU campus, Bloomington, and the surrounding area has to offer.

We recognize that plans change! If you have RSVPed for Experience Day but have determined you can no longer attend, please let us know by cancelling your RSVP. This helps us in planning for an accurate number of visitors for the day. We will also offer you the opportunity for a personalized visit at another time that works better with your schedule!

We also offer the option to schedule an individual visit when it best fits your schedule.

After Experience Day, and finding that I felt a kinship, even with students not in the program track that I was looking at, I knew this was the place that I wanted to be, with the people who would make a difference
