Transfer students

If you know you want to make the O’Neill School your academic home at IU, you may be able to bypass our standard admission process as a Direct Transfer Admit. High-achieving transfer students who are admitted to IU with an O’Neill major are reviewed for direct admission on a case-by-case basis.

To be considered, you must have:

• completed a course at the transfer institution that meets IUB’s foundations English requirement with a grade of C or better.

 and

• an overall GPA of 3.0 in academic coursework at the transfer institution.

O’Neill permits current O’Neill transfer students to petition up to two courses towards their degree. To submit your petition, please review and complete the following form:
