Registration for courses occurs on Canvas, Indiana University’s online service center. After acceptance into the program, you’ll receive an e-mail with the time and date you can begin registering. Information about registration, including the steps you must take, will also be available on Canvas, the IU site where you’ll access your online courses.
Of course, if you prefer talking with an O’Neill staff member to get oriented, then call or e-mail us.
After registering for classes, you will find out what textbooks you need through the course syllabi or faculty director. Information about textbooks will be posted on Canvas.
Shopping for textbooks is easy online. Amazon, Barnes & Noble, TIS, and the IU Bookstore are just a few places you can look for your books.
You will be able to follow progress in your courses via Oncourse and check your grades in One.iu.edu. For official information about your grades, consult the Office of the Registrar, which handles transcripts.
O'Neill Online students have the option of participating in the IU Bloomington and O’Neill commencement ceremonies. You will be notified of the ceremonies through e-mail, mail, or Canvas. You may attend one or both of the ceremonies. If you do not participate, your diploma will be sent in the mail.
You should consult the faculty director for advising. The director will help you design a course schedule, approve your internship, and relay important information to you.
