Our Ph.D. programs dive deep into the research skills and methodologies you’ll need to advance knowledge in the area of your interest. You’ll work closely with faculty as your mentors, graduating well prepared to continue research and share with the next generations the expertise needed to continue leading for the greater good. We offer Ph.D. programs in Public Affairs and Environmental Science.
Minors
In addition to our Ph.D. programs, we provide course work and other student-related activities for those working toward doctoral degrees in other schools and colleges of Indiana University who select a minor doctoral field in public and environmental affairs.
Six minor doctoral fields are available:
- Arts Administration Minor
- Environmental Studies Minor
- Nonprofit Management Minor
- Public Management Minor
- Regional Economic Development Minor
- Urban Affairs Minor
You must have your proposal for a doctoral minor field approved by your advisor and Ph.D. program director before taking courses for the minor.
