Gwendolyn Lloyd's Ph.D. research was on the effect of forest management on ground-dwelling invertebrate communities. Additional research experience includes projects on invasion meltdown effects of invasive earthworms and honeysuckle, seed preferences of temperate forest ants, foraging behavior of overwintering chickadees, and shifts in plant structures across climatic gradients. Prior to graduate school, she taught middle school science full-time and continued her teaching experience through graduate school. Lloyd also has professional experience working as a GIS specialist doing EPA wastewater monitoring.
