Chris chose the O’Neill Online program for a variety of reasons. Initially after graduating from law school, he visited O’Neill with an interest in pursuing his MPA on-campus. Eventually, he decided to continue the legal field for a few years before continuing his graduate education.
When the time finally came to pursue his MPA, O’Neill Online appealed to him because of the program’s nationally renowned faculty who are leaders in their fields; the option to take courses on-campus during O’Neill Online Week and other times of the year; and the ability to fit the coursework in his busy schedule. All of these, along with the diverse student population found in the program, led him to choose O’Neill Online.
When asked to provide advice to current and prospective O’Neill Online students, Chris let us know that, "O’Neill Online faculty are acutely aware of the fact that many O’Neill Online students are professionals, and even have families, which necessitates flexibility in class times and office hours. This flexibility allowed me to better complete my coursework in the program. I highly recommend keeping these type of characteristics in mind when looking for the right fit in a program."
