BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs will have a significant presence at the 2024 Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) Fall Research Conference, taking place November 21-23 in National Harbor, Maryland.
Faculty, students, and alumni from the O’Neill School will participate in an extensive array of panel discussions, presentations, and workshops that demonstrate the school’s commitment to advancing evidence-based policy research and practice. The conference, themed “Policymaking at the Federal, State, and Local Levels,” will allow the O’Neill School to showcase its world-renowned expertise while also creating collaboration opportunities with scholars from around the globe.
“The APPAM Fall Research Conference is a premier event for public policy scholars and practitioners, and the O’Neill School is proud to contribute to its success,” said Siân Mooney, dean of the O’Neill School. “Our faculty, students, and alumni will bring forward innovative solutions to some of society’s most complex challenges, reaffirming our leadership in public and environmental affairs.”
The O’Neill School will host an affiliate reception November 21 from 7–9 p.m. featuring remarks from Executive Associate Dean Todd Royer and the chance to network with colleagues and friends. Additionally, Marylis Fantoni, a Ph.D. candidate in public affairs at the O’Neill School, will be recognized for her selection as an APPAM Equity and Inclusion Fellow during a luncheon November 22 from noon–1p.m.
