Submit Honors Application
You are eligible to apply for the program after completing at least 30 credits and one semester at IU-Bloomington.
Recommended: Sophomore Spring

Admission to the Program
Welcome to O'Neill Honors! You will begin the program the semester after you receive your admission email.
Orientation
Orientation helps give students an overview of the ins and outs of the program, and introduces students to key faculty and staff.
Start Attending Events!
The program requires 8 event credits. Starting to attend events early is crucial to graduating with O'Neill Honors.
Enroll in V491
V91 is the first course in the Thesis Workshop. You will identify a research question, choose a faculty advisor, and learn about the most rigorous research design for your topic. If you are interested in quantitative analysis, you should take V370 before or with V491.

Enroll in V499
V499 is the second course in the Thesis Workshop. You will finish your data analysis and learn how to present your findings in the written thesis and in an engaging presentation.

Attend Final Events for Credit
As you work towards a final thesis, continue attending event credits. By the time you near graduation, you should be done or nearly done with this Honors requirement.
Present Your Thesis
At the end of V499, you will present your thesis! This is the time to celebrate all the hard work you accomplished through O'Neill Honors.
