The O'Neill School maintains multifunction color printers on the second, third, and fourth floors. These printers are implemented and managed by IU Print, bringing standardized copy, scan, and print options to the shared central areas of the O’Neill school. These multifunction devices use the secure print option, which allows you to generate jobs to the print queue, and then scan your IU ID at the printer where you want your jobs to be generated.
Note: The Print Shop printers in room 152 remain separate from the IU Print infrastructure.
Some individuals may currently have access to a dedicated desktop printer. This practice is no longer supported at O’Neill due to the cost of support and maintenance, and due to the huge impact personal printing has on the environment. Unless you intend to request a personal printer due to unique work-related circumstances, these printers will not be replaced when they are retired.
Toner and paper will be provided for all centralized printers at O'Neill and MSBII. Paper is provided and handled by Building Services and Support. Any toner, ink, paper, or other supplies for any individual devices must be maintained and ordered through the O’Neill Business Office.
Maintenance and support of all centralized IU Print printers at O’Neill will be handled by UITS. Only toner and paper will need to be replaced by O’Neill internally.
Maintenance and support of all centralized O'Neill-owned printers is provided by O'Neill IT. As O'Neill moves to the IU Print model, both toner and maintenance will be handled by UITS, not O'Neill IT or any other O'Neill unit. Only paper will need to be replaced by us internally.
