BLOOMINGTON and INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs is pleased to announce that Professor Sergio Fernandez has been appointed as the inaugural director of the newly established Paul H. O’Neill Center for Leadership in Public Service. The center aims to strengthen society by leveraging the expertise and resources of the O’Neill School at our locations in Bloomington and Indianapolis by amplifying existing initiatives and developing new programs to broaden our reach, serve additional audiences, and deepen the school’s impact.
Fernandez, an internationally recognized scholar in public management and organizational behavior, brings a wealth of expertise to this role. With a research focus on leadership, employee motivation, and organizational change within the public sector, Fernandez has consistently contributed to understanding effective leadership practices and strategies that enhance public service delivery.
