BLOOMINGTON and INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Researchers from the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs will present groundbreaking studies and innovative approaches at the 2024 Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) Annual Conference, taking place Oct. 23-25 in Washington, D.C.
The O’Neill School delegation will join public administration scholars, policymakers, and educators from around the world to address key issues in public affairs education, governance, and policy. This year’s theme, “Leading by Convening,” will offer an opportunity to highlight the O’Neill School’s contributions to shaping the future of public policy, affairs, and administration.
The O’Neill School has also been honored with the 2024 NASPAA Diversity Award in recognition of its outstanding efforts in advancing diversity across research, teaching, and service at its Indianapolis campus.
“We’re extremely proud to have an impactful presence at NASPAA’s conference in the nation’s capital,” said Siân Mooney, dean of the O’Neill School and co-chair of NASPAA’s Comprehensive Schools Section. “It’s always great to meet with colleagues and collaborators, and our researchers always look forward to expanding their networks during the conference. It’s also a huge honor to receive the 2024 Diversity Award, and we look forward to celebrating the achievement.”
Mooney will serve as a panelist during the NASPAA Annual Conference, as will Assistant Professor Vernise Estorcien and Professor Douglas Noonan.
NASPAA is the global standard in public service education, and the conference is a premier event for thought leadership in public policy, management, and administration. The O'Neill School’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and public service leadership.
