O’Neill student spends semester in nation’s capital advancing CHIPS and Science Act

Will Sinciline, a junior studying policy analysis at the O’Neill School, is spending his spring semester interning at U.S. Senator Todd Young’s Washington, D.C., office through the Washington Leadership Program. He is supporting the legislative team as it works to ensure the CHIPS and Science Act is effectively implemented. In addition, he is assisting with research projects such as improving apprenticeship grant systems; sourcing critical minerals that are needed to support advanced technologies, manufacturing, and supply chain management; and using the tax code to incentivize research and development.
