100%of reporting 2022-23 MAAA masters students go into employment or continuing education upon receiving their degree

As IU employees, Natalia Almanza and Laura Judson are using their tuition benefit to advance their careers through the MAAA program.

Description of the video:

Without that tuition benefit, I don't think  that this would have been possible for me.
A lot of them are working in and around  Bloomington in different Arts organizations. I currently work full-time for the Arts  Humanities Council, but I'm also part-time student and I volunteer with Girls Rock and the  Bloomington Arts commission and and Gallery Walk. But I've managed to find ways  to kind of balance it out.
as offering course substitutions,  waivers for prior work experience, as well as the ability to do online  course work, as well as in person.
The more that I live and work in the  arts, the more I know that this type of education and like coursework is really  applicable to so many different fields. The biggest thing that I've taken  away from the MAAA program thus far, is just that sense of confidence that you  get from pursuing a master's degree and from being somewhat of an expert in your field. I'm willing and ready to like take on  any challenges that kind of come my way.

Consider a dual degree

Combine your MAAA with IU's top-ranked MPA degree and further your career possibilities.  The course requirements for the dual MAAA-MPA can be completed in just five semesters, plus an internship usually carried out during one of the summers in which you’re enrolled in the program. This dual degree provides a combination of skills especially well suited for you if you have an interest in doing applied research for arts organizations in the commercial, nonprofit, or public sector.

Establish an international career in cultural policy and management by combining the MAAA with the Master of Arts in Cultural Policy and Arts Management at University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. Spend your entire second year learning and working abroad.
