Whether you’re a future diplomat, business executive, NGO leader or more, our Master of International Affairs (MIA) program will prepare you for career opportunities in the global marketplace. This program is a joint effort between the world-renowned O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.
These two schools bear the names of three of America’s finest public servants—the Hon. Lee Hamilton and the late Sen. Richard Lugar, and former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Paul H. O’Neill. Continuing their legacy, these two schools give you the practical skills and in-depth knowledge to succeed in internationally oriented careers.
A master’s degree in international affairs is often a program—and career track—only attainable at an elite price. However, we believe in developing the leaders of tomorrow who have the most merit, so our MIA is consciously priced to be one of the most affordable degrees of its kind—allowing our top-ranked education to be accessibleto anyone with the talent and passion to pursue a career in diplomacy, international affairs,or global policy. And, to fully ensure that our program is fully attainable to those with merit, 75% of O’Neill graduate students also receive funding awards of 25% or more—on top of our competitive base pricing.
