As we collectively address the impact and uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and face continued acts of racial injustice, it is more important than ever to maintain a sense of community and shared mission. As alumni of the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, we are called to "lead for the greater good" and now, at this time in our nation's history, it has never been more important to rise up and meet these challenges.
As we continue to witness pain, sadness, and anger over these tragic events, as well as the effects of historical injustices and racism, the O'Neill Alumni Board stands in support of our Black alumni, faculty, students, and staff. There is much to be learned and a lot of work to be done in order to make significant and meaningful change, but we believe it can be accomplished if we work together.
The O'Neill Alumni Board encourages you to go forth and get involved. Make the world a place we all wish to live in -- one that is safe and fair for all.

O'Neill (MPA'66), who was a leader in the public, private, and nonprofit industries and made a transformative gift to the School in 2019.
